Why traditional way of massage is important for your little one

It’s a wonderful feeling to shower gentle love to your little blossoms. One most beautiful way is through touch. Massage, I would say is an extended version of it, both in terms of the time spent and care that you wish to soak your dear honey bunnies in. Scientifically, Massage has been classified as a type of therapy that is known to relieve stress, lessen anxiety, improve sleep, lower fatigue levels, and over & above, enhance the quality of life.

Your little sunshine is not at an age to express his/her emotions. There may be times when the muscle gets sore or they undergo some kind of physical discomfort. It could be even a poor sleep pattern. So, here comes the very important role of massage, besides being a wonderful tool for pouring the love to your little cupcakes. You would have already noticed the kind of joy your cutie pie experience during the massage if done appropriately. The immediate sleep mode post this therapy is the good evidence supporting it and not to forget the relief, calmness, and relaxation that it brings along.

Here again, I would like to tell you that not all massage sessions could be a good experience for your baby. The product possibly used especially the oil/cream is the commonest reason behind it. The various chemical components, harshness, and strong perfumes can end up hurting the skin of your bunnies in the form of rashes, irritation, redness, burning sensation, dryness, eruptions, papules, etc. It is very important to choose your baby products with utmost care. Mommypure understands those concerns. To address them with complete care and love, is, the Soothing Senses Baby Massage Oil in our product list.

Mother Massaging her Baby

With the observance of the 1st of May as Therapeutic Massage Awareness Day, we take an opportunity to give you a few tips on massage and make the most of what it can offer to your bumblebees.

  • Keep all the materials ready and handy before the start of the session Place your sugarplum on a firm surface that is cozy for them to lie down
  • Regulate the room temperature, ensure proper ventilation and play some soft relaxing music behind
  • Dab some Massage Oil on your palms and massage your wonder bud gently
  • Start from the neck, go down to the chest and slowly until the abdomen. Then, from the shoulders reach the arms, wrist, and fingers in a very unhurried motion.
  • Do the same for legs from thighs until the toes. Make your kiddo lie on his/her tummy and massage the neck, back, waist until buttocks very softly
  • You can even apply the oil on the scalp and give some gentle strokes on the head.
  • In the end, give your baby a warm gentle bath with a Baby body wash

One simple technique for any body part is to always come from top to bottom covering the anterior, posterior and lateral areas simultaneously. Talk with your honeybees. Make it an engaging session. Be playful throughout. Pledge on this day to make Massage a part of your baby’s daily routine and let your love outgrow beyond boundaries.
